YCT/YCTL Electromagnetic Speed Regulation Motor Principle

The stepless speed regulation is achieved by electromagnetic clutch, it has two rotating parts, cylinder armature and claw poles, no mechanical connections between them, the motor pull the armature rotating with the rotor, and when there is direct current passing through the exciting coil, space-alternating magnetic field will be induced in the air-gap, the armature will cut the magnetic lines and induce electrical current, the inductive current will produce a magnetic field too, the effect of the two magnetic fields will produce torque. The rotating direction of the output shaft is the same as the pulling motor, and under certain load its speed depends on the value of the exciting current, higher current causes a higher speed, no current no torque output.
